David works with a wide range of clients to develop integrated communications, social marketing, advocacy and marketing campaigns that deliver sustainable results. With experience in corporate communications, brand-building, social marketing and his keen understanding of social issues and advocacy, David has developed innovative campaigns for private and public sector clients.
David is involved in numerous community and progressive initiatives, and was long-time director of Smart Growth BC, an organization which aims to make our communities better places to live.
David was one of 230 Canadians chosen for the 2008 Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and participated in the New Brunswick Study Group. The conference brings together Canada’s leaders from business, labour, government, NGOs, education and the cultural sector, to share and broaden their perspectives on work, leadership, their communities, and their country.
David is a strong advocate for families and children, and is an executive member and past-chair of the Adoptive Families Association of BC. He is presently helping to create an online social community focused on adoption and services for adoptive families.
