For a global pharmaceutical company, he oversaw a program to change attitudes toward organ donation in China – improving positive awareness and working toward mitigating black-market organ trading.
For a global humanitarian organization in Washington, DC, Ian worked to build international media awareness for key civil society, food security, sustainable tourism and health programs in four continents.
He launched North America’s first supervised injection research site for IV drug users in Vancouver’s notorious Downtown Eastside.
