Design holds an immense potential to influence change. I use it to address the things that matter most in my life. I thrive in a challenging environment, requiring problem-solving and creating efficient solutions for clients that reduce environmental impact and move their sustainability efforts forward. That place is Junxion.
Lisa enjoys working with a team to create visually-inspiring and thoughtful design that promotes clear and meaningful messages. She has experience working with ideas big and small, and brings her keen design sensibility to projects that engage the public, help businesses prosper and stir the imagination of young and old.
Lisa comes to Junxion from working at Science World as a member of the in-house design team and several years as an entrepreneur, running her own design business. While at Science World, Lisa was the Green Team Coordinator where she worked with her colleagues to implement waste and cost-saving strategies to further the organization’s sustainability goals.
With hands-on experiences in book design, website development, exhibition design, branding, educational materials, special events, advertising, photography and illustration, Lisa brings considerable skills to Junxion. As Director, Creative Services, Lisa will coordinate in-house and contract creative staff with her special passion for creativity and a down-to-earth attitude.
Lisa has her FSC Xpert Certification and will be teaching Design for Sustainability at Langara’s Communication + Ideation Design program in the Fall 2008. She strongly believes that good design considers its environmental consequence, and hopes to influence other designers to take the sustainability challenge themselves.
