Travis Junck, Interactive Lead

The internet is a medium of unlimited opportunity for engaging a global audience in awareness and action towards sustainability. This is an excellent example of technology with a purpose – without that, technology is pointless.![]()
Being able to communicate complex concepts and ideas in a simple, clear manner is what motivates Travis. He enjoys problem-solving and guiding ideas from concept to solution. He thrives in environments with open ideas, where he can explore concepts and apply technologies in a meaningful way. Travis brings his passion for people, business and technology, and the impact of these combined elements, to Junxion’s work forwarding sustainability.
Travis possesses a versatile skill set with a strong background in design, interactive technologies, data and project management, and the processes that bring together business and the technology that can empower it. For Travis, social media is the evolution of technology that empowers, combining intuitive and flexible tools as a platform for people with a cause, and enabling them to join forces and leverage their efforts beyond their local sphere.
Prior to joining Junxion, Travis’ path included architectural design that led to 3-D application programming with the development of virtual reality and interactive projects. As the Internet emerged and evolved, he continued to see the connection opportunities of the web, with early involvement in niche social projects, and now, in the realm of sustainability. One of his most recent projects included the research and development of an online carbon calculator, which provided an e-commerce solution for consultants in ecosystem restoration. It was a project that Travis sees as an example of the web working to provide solutions for our physical world.
