ORS Impact: Business and social sectors converge

ORS Impact is an exciting example

One strong indicator of the increasing alignment of financial, social and environmental imperatives is the rise of impact measurement. Measurement, Learning and Evaluation are increasingly embedded in organizational behaviour, and since 1992, Seattle-based Organizational Research Services has been a leading evaluation consultancy. Over the past year, Junxion has been working with ORS to envision its next decade, and to align its brand with a bold new strategy and plan.

Beginning with a three-day Turning PointTM retreat, and culminating with the launch of
ORS Impact, their new brand, at the 2013 Social Capital Markets conference, it’s been an odyssey of generous ambitions and insightful focus.

ORS Impact as presented at SOCAP, co-led five sessions at the American Evaluation Association conference, and published insights on Measurement, Learning & Evaluation (email required), and Pathways to Change: 10 Theories to Inform Advocacy and Policy Change Efforts. It’s fair to say that they are already achieving their goal to be ‘thought partners to social innovators.’
