Case Study: AFABC

Supporting families with creative messaging and design

Adoptive Families Association of BC is the provincial organization that helps British Columbia create families through adoption. For more than 30 years, AFABC has promoted adoption and create families, and then supporting the adoption community through innovative services and connections. With a movement to online services and targeted programs and supports, the AFABC needed a refreshed identity and communications strategy. For clear, iconic branding, they turned to Junxion for redesign of the visual expression of their organization.

Outcomes

  • Creative design, marketing and networking efforts
  • Helped connect loving adoptive parents with deserving children

Junxion launched a strategic revamp of the AFABC brand platform around the simple and powerful call to action: “adopt”. Distilling the complexities of adoption into a sharp, complete message, Junxion has helped AFABC meet the goals of their members and shift towards greater financial sustainability. In addition, Junxion is producing an array of printed and online marketing materials.

Junxion looks forward to continuing its close relationship with AFABC and helping the organization succeed in its admirable mandate. David Kuefler, Junxion principal, is a past-chair of the AFABC, and he and Peter ter Weeme are proud adoptive parents of Chloe.
