Seeing a growing demand for consultants with expertise in constructively balancing the needs of business, community and the environment, Junxion has added new staff and opened two new offices.

Lisa comes to Junxion from Science World. There, she was on the in-house design team and also headed up the Green Team, an initiative to implement waste and cost-saving strategies to further the organization’s sustainability goals. She sees the potential for design to influence change, and brings her creative talents to client projects that engage communities, help businesses prosper and stir the imagination of people of all ages.

With more than 20 years of brand strategy and public relations expertise, Ian Edwards has worked with both large, global clients dealing with international health and development issues, and local organizations grappling with significant social challenges. As he heads up Junxion’s new office in New York, and with greater numbers of companies undertaking corporate responsibility initiatives, Ian will advise these clients about the strategic and appropriate promotion of their sustainability successes.

Matthew Strand has joined Junxion as the lead in our new Toronto office, where he will manage sustainability consulting clients and projects based in Ontario and eastern Canada. He brings a range of experience in social, environmental and economic sustainability work, with both a regional and international focus. Among many other projects, Matt has worked on an international program on children and the environment through the UNEP, a GHG reduction project in South America, and regional economic development programs in BC.
