Junxion is on the speaking circuit
The team at Junxion continues to receive regular request to speak at a variety of events.
In February, Peter ter Weeme was invited to address the BC Hydro Green Team Networking event about best practices in corporate “green teams” as well as measurement and evaluation of those activities.
In March, Peter was the featured speaker at the Board of Change, Vancouver’s progressive business association with more than 800 members. His talk there focused on the sustainability implications of rapid Asian economic growth on the current scale.
Also in March, Peter was the keynote closing speaker for the annual Sauder MBA Sustainability Conference and Career Fair in Vancouver. There he spoke about five critical sustainability challenges today and the career opportunities they open for today’s graduates.
Meanwhile, Pamela Divinsky spoke on green marketing and building TrustBrands at a one-day Net Impact conference at the Schulich School of Business at York University, Toronto.
In May, Peter spoke to Bentall Kennedy’s B.C. retail property managers about green marketing, consumer attitudes and how they are playing out in the retail environment.
Finally, in July, Peter will be a presenter at the annual UBC Summer Institute for Sustainability Leadership. The focus of that presentation will be on principles of green marketing.
