Junxion has been asked to conduct a resource efficiency assessment for WEBCOM, one of Canada’s largest book printers.
WEBCOM specializes in the production of soft cover books and prints more than 40 million books annually, for customers as diverse as trade, educational, directory, professional and reference publishers; software developers, catalog publishers, and the government.
Webcom made a commitment early in its history to reduce resource energy requirements, waste material, air and water pollution.
Examining and validating the company’s environmental commitment, Junxion will assess WEBCOM’s efficiency in using energy, water, paper, and other resources. Identifying WEBCOM’s resource profile will then inform decisions and recommendations around increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing investments in community and the environment.
